The Many: Aristotle the Next Hero

For Aristotle, human knowledge was based upon an inductive method that progressed from observation to expression. His system fostered a mutually reinforcing relationship between knowledge in terms of proper classification and right speech based upon the assumption that knowledge should be constructed upon the particulars of human observation (not universals).  This construction of knowledge from particulars, Aristotle reasons, provides a proper foundation to general or universal truth.  From this method of moving from particulars to the general, Aristotle was not only concerned with knowledge, but also how it was expressed into human language or how one actually expressed particulars.
